Incipit

Jhesu Christe, qui est terminus sine termino, da mihi dicere tibi quod placeat et sit gratum.

Jesus, Word forever spoken,
Spoken as itself the end,
Tendered both as thing and token,
Sign and what all signs portend:

May these words about Thee spoken,
Spoken outward, to Thee tend,
For they are the inward token
Of that Word where all words end.
